InterStream is committed to shifting control of broadband quality of service exclusively from network providers and unpredictable Internet traffic congestion to individual broadband subscribers and media consumers. InterStream’s first step towards facilitating its commitment is to serve as a third-party standards body responsible for establishing a set of broadband ‘weights and measures.’ In doing so, the net result for consumers is an Internet that can support their expectations for demand, quality and choice well into the future.

If you are interested in deploying the InterStream media grid, please get started by reviewing the deployment model page.

This Wiki is intended to be a collaborative venture providing up to date and relevant information on Interstream, its Mission, membership, working groups and technology. If you or your organization would like to contribute, or become a member, please contact us a info <at> interstream.com.
