Secure InterStream Transit Protocol (S-ISTP)

Analogous to secure HTTP, or HTTPS, Secure ISTP (S-ISTP) enables early release window and high value subscription-based content to be streamed through the media grid and remain encrypted until it reaches its destination.

The media grid enables content companies to securely transmit their content using S-ISTP. S-ISTP streams are only originated and routed from trusted media grid elements. All of these trusted elements of the media grid fabric are secured through the Association's PKI and licensing policies. S-ISTP uses InterStream Protection Keys as public keys to secure these sessions end-to-end across the media grid fabric.
